Fresh Water Cooling Kits Product No. - CFWK_01_264 MMI Fresh water cooling kit This kit requires approximately 2" clearance in front of the flywheel cover to accommodate the "V" belt drive of the sea water pump. The sea water pump is designed to use the same impeller as the Oberdorfer model 202M which is in widespread use on Atomic 4 engines. The heat exchanger is bulkhead-mounted and can be located in any convenient location. The main body of the pump is the same as the MMI flexible impeller (flange) pump, and it uses the same impeller as the MMI and Oberdorfer flange pumps. The inlet and outlet of this pump face upward, which is usually more convenient in Atomic 4 installations than side-mounted inlets and outlets. Please note, however, that if the pump you�re replacing has inlets and outlets in some other direction, you may not be able to use the same fittings with this pump.
