Carburetors/Parts/Kits Product No. - FCAR_01_497 Zenith carburetor - late model (rebuilt) (carburetor flange gasket included). NOTE: This is a special order item, phone orders only. For current availability and pricing call our phone representative at 610.421.4436 This four-bolt late model carburetor has been rebuilt and upgraded to current Zenith specifications. It has been fitted with a simple bracket to insure that the front of the upper and lower housings remain securely pressed together, as in the case of five-bolt carburetors. All rebuilt carburetors include the new idle adjusting needle with knurled extension (FCAR_02.1_508). The carburetor has been rigorously vacuum-tested for leakage prior to shipment. Note: Installation on an early model engine requires our carburetor flange kit (FCAR_13.2_166), scavenge tube (FCAR_13_60.0) and flame arrestor adapter (FCAR_08_59). These items must be ordered separately. Price quoted includes a $25.00 core charge which is refunded when we receive your carburetor. It has a spring-loaded quick disconnect feature that allows the cable to be disconnected from the throttle arm without the need to remove a tiny nut and risk dropping it into the bilge. The end of the connector has 10/32 female threads. It also includes clamps to secure the carburetor end of the cable to the standard Universal throttle bracket used on most Atomic 4 powered boats throughout the 1970's and early 1980's. If your present cable assembly does not use 10/32 fine threads, or your cable ends were lost, you can order the appropriate cable ends from our catalog (our product numbers FCAR_07_373 and FCAR_07_374). This gives you control over the richness of the mixture, from total shut-off (needle part of the assembly all the way in against the orifice of the fixed part of the assembly) to extremely rich, as the needle is withdrawn from the orifice of the fixed jet.
