Idle adjusting needle with knurled extension - late model This needle valve is made of stainless steel and has a knurled extension to make adjusting the idle fuel mixture a "no-tool" procedure. Throttle cable connector, ball joint This connector is a convenient way to connect the end of the throttle cable to the throttle arm of the carburetor. It has a spring-loaded quick disconnect feature that allows the cable to be disconnected from the throttle arm without the need to remove a tiny nut and risk dropping it into the bilge. The end of the connector has 10/32 female threads.

Throttle cable This is a marine grade cable, eight feet in length, with 3" cable travel and 10/32 fine threads (male) on each end. It also includes clamps to secure the carburetor end of the cable to the standard Universal throttle bracket used on most Atomic 4 powered boats throughout the 1970's and early 1980's. If your present cable assembly does not use 10/32 fine threads, or your cable ends were lost, you can order the appropriate cable ends from our catalog (our product numbers FCAR_07_373 and FCAR_07_374).

Carburetor adjustable main jet assembly (optional on late models) The orifice in the "fixed" part of the adjustable main jet assembly is almost twice the diameter of the orifice in the current fixed (non-adjustable) main jet in standard late model carburetors. This gives you control over the richness of the mixture, from total shut-off (needle part of the assembly all the way in against the orifice of the fixed part of the assembly) to extremely rich, as the needle is withdrawn from the orifice of the fixed jet.

Choke cable - long This cable is a twenty-foot version of our standard choke cable. If the cable is too too long for your application, the outer casing can be cut to length using a hack saw or power grinder (after the inner core has been pulled back), and the inner movable core can then be extended and trimmed to its proper length using a pair of cutting pliers.
