Float Pin Removal

I getting ready to service my late model Zenith Carb.... and I wondering about the proper procedure for removing the pin that holds the float in place. Is it just pressed in there? (Dang float is stuck in the down (open) position, poor A-4's getting drunk on too much gas).

Banyan,

The pivot pin for the float is lightly pressed through the two supports mounted to the upper housing. I usually use a pair of small needle-nosed pliers to remove the pin.
