Hi I thought I posted here before, but I guess it didn't work out . I have a C&C Corvette 1968with Atomic 4 it runs great but when it is in gear and i try to get revs up over 2100rpm, it revs up like it is slipping out of gear . By reading some of the other discussion I think it is the clutches slipping. If this is the problem is it a matter of adjustment or major rebuild? Thank you .

It is just a simple adjustment... depending on the access to the back of the engine... there is an transmission access plate that is removed with four bolts. I would recommend getting Don Moyers Atomic Four manual as it explains very clearly how to adjust both the forward and reverse settings.

I can tell you that you can over adjust the clutches easily, and that may cause another situation that is like a slipping clutch.
