water inlet manifold upgrade?

As I was removing the water inlet manifold from my early A-4, while gently tapping on it's edge with a small ball-peen hammer, it cracked in half. There was no clean metal where it cracked, so it was ready to fail. Is the manifold offered by Moyer Marine useable on the early model motor?

I have an old manifold from my old early model A-4 but it is pretty corroded and pitted. I guess I could have the broken one welded up.
