Digital thermometer

While I wouldn't suppose the readings are real accurate .. I'm hoping this $25- thermometer from Harbor Freight might prove a helpful accoutrement in my routine engine checks ..

My infrared thermometer is one of my favorite tools. I use it for checking anything where heat could be an issue ; coils, electrical connections, individual exhaust ports when looking for dead cylinders(almost impossible on an A-4) and the list goes on. I just wish I had had it when the twins were young to check their bottle temps.
