Volume of oil for C&C 34 1981

I am putting in 1 and 3/4 litres which come to the full mark on my dip stick. I relize is because of the engine angle (direct drive). Can I add extra oil and make a line on my dip stick or buy a new dipstick.

Malcolm,

You should operate with the oil level at the full mark on a standard dip stick. There is no need to adjust for the normal installation angles on sail boats.
