I have an A4 model #5101 in an Oday 27 sailboat. Temperature gauge worked fine at haul-out last fall, however I have not been able to make it budge this year. As I only run it for about 15 mins. at a time (long enough for me to get out of the harbor & get the sails up), I have not been too concerned. I plan a Lake Ontario crossing (about 50 knms.) this weekend & wonder if I'm just begging for trouble. The exhaust seems to put out as much water as ever and it is only warm to the touch. There doesn't seem to be any loss of power, nor does the engine make any unusual sounds. Anyone have any ideas??
