My atomic4 starts and runs fine in nuetral, when I put it in gear (forward) it engages but will only go to about 1/4-1/2 throttle. Meaning I'll move the throttle lever all the way for the engine to be at full open, but I'm only getting 1/4-1/2 power. Doing ~ 2.5 knots.
What should I check?
A bad cylinder?
A little bit of background....I have been having trouble with her all summer (new boat) overheating which I finally fixed. But, my last day out before I fixed her it overheated 'big time' pegged for 15-25 minutes smoking and finally got a tow home (no wind that day). That was over a month ago. Today was the first day I took her out after I fixed the heating problem. She sounds fine.
