shift lever housing is broken

I have a Tartan 27 with an Atomic 4 that is now running beautifully, but the problem is that the previous owner replaced ths shift lever with a piece of wood which broke. I've replaced it with another piece of wood, but clearly the entire housing needs to be replaced along with the shift lever. Can the shifter mechanism be purchased anywhere?

check the online catalog under overhauling parts then rev gear. All of the parts should be there.

West Marine sells a single shift lever for about $100 or a combo shift/throttle for about $510.
