I would like to see a hard copy available of the complete moyers replacement
parts catalog. It could be in the form of a printable PDF.
The reason for this is that when we are out at sea on a trip, we do not
have the moyer catalog available or a computer to aid in selecting the appropriate parts
to order and prevent accidental misordering.
A case in point, this summer I needed to order a fuel pump. I ended up
having to purchase a firewall kit for nearly 3 times the price of just a fuel
pump. The person I spoke with (Ken was on vacation) , while well intentioned, told me that a pump for firewall mounting
was not available other than as a kit. As I needed the pump asap, I ordered
it, Upon returning I checked the catalog and confirmed with Ken that
the engine mounted pump was indeed the same pump at nearly 1/3 the
price.
Since we have a hard copy Universal parts catalog available, doesn't it make sense that a Moyer catalog be available as well?
