Hi All

New to this site with an Islander/wayfarer 29 complete with an Atomic 4.
I'm not sure about the mod state of the engine yet as I didn't look before we got slammed with winter (previous owner had winterised her). Based out of Penetanguishene, Ontario I can't wait for next year. Meanwhile, I'll have to be satisfied with learning more about the engine.

Welcome aboard. Go through some spring start up procedures and all should go well. This is a great site for info and help.

Best Regards

Welcome to the site. If you don't already have one you should order your personal copy of the Moyer Marine Service and Overhaul Manual available at the on line catalogue. You might say that it keeps us on the same page. Regards, Hanley

I did some sailing up in your area about a year and a half ago( the North Channel, from Meldrum Bay, Bear Drop, Spanish, Little Current, Benjamin Islands, Landsdowne Channel, Killarney, Tobermory, Kinncardin and on home to Gibraltar, Mi. In all that time (about a Month) I motored about three quarters of the time. My Atomic 4, older block with electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, fresh water cooled(Great Lakes sweet water) ran flawlessly. You will learn a lot about the A4 at this site! "Full Circle" 32ft. Welcome.

We sail out of Little Current, Ontario and spend most of our time in the North Channel and the other end of the Georgian Bay. Keep an eye out for a Catalina 27 "June Bug."

Mystic Fate, welcome to our forum. Ah winterizing, it was 85 degrees last week and rainy today but still no need to winterize here in So. Cal.:p.

Good Luck and fair winds _/) _/)

Welcome to the forum. Great place to get help with the beastie. Minus 6 centigrade here on the east coast tonight, and summer just around the corner.
