Does anyone use an exhaust outlet guard (one of those contraptions that are attached to the outside of the exhaust pipe, such as the one that Salisbury Marine or Vetus offer)?
Does it really effective in keeping water from entering the exhaust and muffler, while allowing exhaust to exit?
I am trying to decide whether which is better, the external guard or the shut off valve.
