Are the valve seats replaceable on the A4? Mine are pitted and I'm afraid grinding will take out too much material.

Yep, I just had the 4 exhaust seats replaced, cost me $10 per valve seat, $2 parts and $8 labor. They just ground the 4 intake seats.
