dual ignition systems

OK - this is totally overboard, but here is a way to switch real time between alternate coils and ignition systems. I just may have to do it over the winter :D

You know..when they fail in NASCAR, & the announcer says..."Well, sounds like they are having an ignition problem and so Junior has switched over to his backup ignition..", I 've always dreamed about a way to instantly switch over...especially after that first spring when I was fighting a dying coil. :D

I would have paid TRIPLE the $90 or so price for one of these or maybe a bit more when my coil died while going downwind with a 2 knot current behind me towards a closed bridge :eek::eek:

I dropped anchor in a big hurry, it caught, the boat swung 180 degrees into the current and then over towards the dock right between two boats. We tied up like that was how we always did it :D

Now I switched back to points my 2 or so times per year coil swaps have ended, but ya never know.......
