Good running A 4 for sale

In September I removed a great A4 from my boat. Fresh water cooled and runs like a champ. You could drop it into your boat and go! The engine is coming out of my 1973 Tartan 30. I've owned the boat 8 years. No idea of the history before I bought her. The boat is currently in Deltaville VA where my boatyard is located.. Last time i checked, the compression (2005??) was fine and even in all cylinders. Boat was in storage 2008-this spring. Is in use and running now. My son is going south in the boat. Since we do not know the history, we'd want to rebuild the engine, but then we don't have the time to do that so he wants to repower. This engine will be available in Deltaville VA by mid September. Asking $800.

How about a little info, like where you're located and how much you're asking for the engine? Also, any idea of what year the engine is? Is it an old style or new style?

Money - price was not a problem, I saw the engine, rolled it over,,
just have to be able to get someone to take the money,,
thats the issue..
I didn't need another running engine, I just wanted "core" parts, My head, and block both have cracks, and JB WELD, I wanted a fresh version.
