Electric Fuel Pump Installation

I just received a bulkhead-mount fuel pump kit, but the instructions are for the engine-mounted kit. I am assuming I need a ground wire to the fuel pump mount, since it will not be grounded to the engine.

Is this correct?

You will indeed need to ground the bulkhead mounted fuel pump to the engine. I'll ask our warehouse manager to email you a set of instructions for the bulkhead kit.

We also have an electric fuel pump. So what to do with the old broken down mechanical pump? Its corroted pretty bad and I'd like to remove it. I imagine there's a cover plate I'll need to cover the hole.
