Need help!!! Bought a 1979 Silverline Nantucket for a good deal. Previous owner said he winterized it. I took it home and put new plugs and wires in cleaned the motor. It starts up real good but as I gas it the motor cuts of every single time. Seems like I got ripped off? I thought it might be the carburetor, idle, or probably fuel lines, mixtures but I have no idea what's wrong with the boat. Help please!!!

Tom,
We can't tell from your question whether or not you're talking about an Atomic 4 engine. If you are, you're probably describing a lean condition. The remedy for this condition would be to clean out the carburetor.
Don
Don't forget to check your spark plug wires - there are a bunch of threads about A4s running fine at idle and stalling under load if a pair of wires is reversed.
